About Claudius Jarrett

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Claudius Jarrett serves an assistant professor at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Claudius Jarrett has completed extensive post-graduate work in the fields of orthopaedic hand and upper extremity surgery.

As an undergraduate at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Jarrett was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society. He went on to obtain a chemistry degree with summa cum laude distinctions.

Dr. Jarrett received highest accolades in a school of medicine dean’s letter while working toward his MD at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He also became a featured Student in the Northwestern School of Medicine alumni publication.

After graduating with his medical degree, Dr. Claudius Jarrett completed an orthopaedic residency at Emory University, where he won the 2010 Kelly Day Resident Research Award. At Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he undertook a hand and upper extremity surgical fellowship in 2011. His performance at the hospital earned him the institution’s prestigious Microsurgery Award.
